8" KILR EEL (DeLong Lures)
The 8" KILR EEL is the smallest in Delong's line of Musky lures. It weighs about 1oz., has one 8/0 Mustad hook molded in the head and a 5/0 hook in the tail. Like all of their lures it has the famous Delong Scent molded right in.
The KILR EEL looks just like an injured baitfish. It darts in all directions with the belly rolling up. Suspends extremely well when stopped. It will sink, but very slowly.
Works best with a flexible leader; point your rod tip down and work the lure with downward snaps or jerks while keeping the slack out of your line. Don't be afraid to rip them really hard there is no wrong way to fish this lure.

13" KILR EEL (DeLong Lures)
The 13" KILR EEL weighs about 3oz. It has two 8/0 Mustad hooks molded in joined by 135 lb test wire.
The 13" EEL is the larger version of DeLong's 8" KILR EEL. It has virtually the same action but with a little more tail whip. Like the 8" EEL it rides most of the time with the hooks up. Making these lures surprisingly very weedless.
A very hard downward snap of the rod tip will actually make this lure turn around and swim away from the boat. This action closely resembles the circle an injured baitfish will make.
