The largest muskie of the year are taken in late fall along steep sand/gravel dropoffs. Walleye lay adjacent to weeds most of the time. Nice size perch, crappie and bluegill.

Big Muskellunge Lake G105

This clear-water lake means using lures with a natural color, especially for muskie. The deep rock humps and steep drop-offs are prime for walleye.

Big St. Germain Lake G106

Panfish and toothy-critters abound here. Concentrate on the shallow weeds in spring for all species. As the season progresses, drop to the deep weed edges.

Cisco provides the forage for a number of gamefish including muskie, walleye and smallmouth. Panfishing is good.

This lake is a sleeper for muskie and largemouth bass. Good tiger muskie are caught each year. A good reputation for action. Northern pike and panfish abound.

Fence Lake G200

A cold, very clear and deep lake that's difficult to fish on sunny days. Look for low-light conditions or a slight chop on the water for best results. Great perch, walleye and muskie. Also pike, smallmouth bass, smelt, bluegills and brown trout.

Big Crawling Stone Lake G205

A premier smallmouth lake from mid-June through summer. Excellent spring crappie action. Walleye, muskie and northerns add to the action.
