Great panfishing. A good action lake for northern pike. Work for walleye and muskie and you won't be disappointed here.

Pickerel Lake G115

Panfishing is excellent all year. Walleye and smallmouth bass can be tough to find here, but if you're willing to look for them, you'll be surprised. Nice northerns too.

Katherine Lake G116

Most action here is centered around the downed timber, deep rock piles and steep drop-offs. The clear water and general lack of vegetation dictates more finesse fishing for walleye, muskie and smallies.

Muskie turn on early in the season because the dark water warms quickly. Weeds at both ends of the lake attract nice crappie. Walleye, northern and perch available.

Crescent Lake G149

Extremely popular lake. Best action found on weed edges and rocky drop-offs. The clear water produces best during low-light periods, windy conditions and at night. An excellent fall turn-over lake for both walleye and muskie.

Boom Lake & Rhinelander Flowage G263

Fishing Hot Spots' home water! Muskie in both quantity and quality. Nice bass, northerns and panfish, but navigate with caution, since this is a flowage. Heavy recreational use prompts low-light fishing unless you find a hot bay.
